Data Songivo stores
Songivo stores the content you create or import in the app, including songs, setlists, PDFs, annotations, app settings, tags, links, and band data. This content is stored on your device and remains under your control. Songivo also keeps sanitized sync diagnostic logs on your device for up to three calendar days.
iCloud and CloudKit
When iCloud features are enabled, Songivo uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to sync your personal library between your devices and to support shared band libraries. Your chosen display name is also synchronized through Apple iCloud for use across your devices. Songivo does not operate a separate server for this app data.
User content
Songs, lyrics, chord charts, PDFs, images, annotations, setlists, and notes are created or imported by you. Songivo does not sell this content or use it for advertising or tracking.
Band sharing
If you create or join a shared band library, the band content, participant details, and editing history you share are visible to accepted participants. Your chosen display name can appear in shared-band editing history. When you invite someone by email, Songivo sends that email address to Apple CloudKit to identify and manage the sharing participant. Only share band libraries with people you trust to access that material.
Online chord search and import
Online chord search and import are optional. When you use them, your search term and request go directly to the selected source, currently Ultimate Guitar or E-Chords. Those sources may receive normal connection data, such as your IP address and user agent, and handle it under their own privacy policies. Songivo does not run a server that receives these requests.
Diagnostics
Songivo keeps sanitized sync diagnostic logs on your device for up to three calendar days to help you inspect sync issues. Email addresses and URLs are redacted from those logs. A log leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to share it using the system share sheet.
Microphone
Songivo asks for microphone access only for the tuner feature. The tuner uses microphone input to detect pitch. Songivo does not record, store, or send tuner audio to Songivo servers.
In-app purchases
Songivo offers in-app purchases and subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Purchase processing, billing, refunds, and subscription management are handled by Apple.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Songivo does not collect advertising identifiers, does not track you across apps or websites, and does not collect third-party marketing data. Songivo does not use developer-operated analytics collection.
Children's privacy
Songivo is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support contact, email support so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.

This policy may be updated when Songivo's features or legal requirements change. The updated date on this page will reflect the latest version.
